Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Service Representative to join our State Farm agency. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support in various insurance matters. This role is essential in ensuring client satisfaction and operational efficiency within the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Licensing and Compliance: Obtain and maintain necessary licenses in Property, Casualty, Life, Accident, Health, and Bank to provide comprehensive service to clients.
  • Incoming Call Management: Be the first in line to answer incoming calls, assisting clients with:
     
    • Payment processing
  •  
    • Coverage inquiries
  •  
    • Connecting insured clients to the claims department as needed
  •  
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule simple conversation review appointments for the agent to facilitate client engagement and policy discussions.
  • Late Payment Follow-Up: Conduct timely follow-up on late payments through both texts and calls to ensure client accounts remain current.
  • Task Distribution: Distribute Bank of the Day (BOD) tasks among team members to maintain workflow and efficiency within the agency.
  • Service Efficiency Meetings: Participate in weekly meetings with the agent to discuss service efficiency, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service or an administrative role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on client interaction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using office technology and software, with a willingness to learn new systems as needed.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset.
